Buying Cryptocurrency From Trinidad & Tobago
Learning is living and living is learning. Those words have stood the test of time, and the test of truth. Truth, supported by real life lessons and the theory that when word can be reversed, and has the same meaning, it is a formula for truth.
Actually getting involved with cryptocurrencies is how I learned, from mistakes and trial and errors.
My journey into the world of cryptocurrencies began with me learning about what is crypto, how it is used and how it works. Once I had a basic understanding I began to explore more. There are a number of videos on youtube that provide a real schooling on how to buy, sell, trade, and invest in cryptocurrencies.
Why Crypto?
Also, as an online marketer, I realized that many advertising sites have moved away from the regular payment platforms like Paypal, Skrill, Onecart, or even direct payment with credit cards. These sites accept cryptocurrencies exclusively, no other payments are accepted. There are so many reasons for using cryptocurrencies, below there is a link to a eBook that answers the question in detail. Download it.
From Zero To Crypto
My first purchase was a few months ago, that in itself was a challenge. The biggest challenge was where I live, because Trinidad and Tobago was Blacklisted by the European Union.
As such, lots of hours were wasted registering and setting up accounts then finding out, at the KYC verification process, that residents of Trinidad and Tobago are not accepted because of the sanctions.
Professionally, it's bad customer service because code could have been included to recognize IP addresses and a quick notification provided. My guess is why worry about customer service when the prospect you notify cannot become a customer, no need for customer service. It just seems illogical to accumulate worthless accounts that cannot ever be used.
Even With Sanctions, I'm In
After a long and frustrating search I was able to purchase $300 USD worth of bitcoins.
I am finally in the crypto space, I now have the ability to buy ads, accept crypto payments, and pay for a variety of services that before was beyond my reach.
Living is learning and learning is really living.
The journey continues but I want to keep this post short. I hate reading long posts and I am assuming you do too.
Feel free to comment, don't just read.
I will share more of the journey in a couple of days, as I delve deeper into the crypto space.
In the meanwhile, share your experience, even if you are not in the space, share why, any will help others understand, appreciate or avoid the space.
Don't be shy, say something.
